Jethro - Almost Home Canine Rescue

Jethro is now 5 months old and weighs about 40 pounds. He is doing great in foster care. Jethro knows how to sit and knows his name. Jethro is known as a "big marshmallow" because he loves to cuddle and thinks he is a little lap dog.

Jethro was purchased for $200 for a suprise Christmas gift. They forgot to ask the landlord if she would allow puppies in the house, so the day after Christmas the owner tried to surrender Jethro to the pound or find someone to take him. Luckily the vet notified Almost Home and he did not end up in the wrong hands. Jethro is a 14 week old pup weighting 25 pounds. He is submissive and gets along great with dogs and cats. Jethro is a cuddler, just a big baby! We will be working on continued socialization and housetraining in foster care. Jethro is a pit bull terrier, please only apply if you have experience with the breed and understand the breed.

Jethro is neutered, utd shots, kennel cough vaccinated, dewormed. His adoption donation is $125. We require an adoption application, references, adoption contract and home visit. We only adopt to families in SD, MN, NE, ND, IA.
