Sophie

Sophie really is a little pit bull with a big heart. At nearly 1 year old, she's only 50 lbs and not much taller than a beagle. She enjoys running (really running, by the bike or out in a field), discovering treats in toys or by hide and seek, playing in the water from the sprinkler, and most especially cuddling. She loves to be touching another dog or person when she cuddles up in her little ball. She's been working on basic obedience (sit, down, wait, etc.) and is starting to pick up some tricks (shake and sit pretty).

Sophie's a very social little dog who likes other dogs and pets of all shapes and sizes, she'd do well in a home where she got opportunities to socialize with pets and people often. Her favorite humans are kids, she lights up when she sees a kid and loves treats and petting attention from them. People enjoy her hilarious talking and sound effects when she's having fun or really enjoying a back or belly rub. She has yet to meet a person who isn't fond of her and would be a great addition to any home. Her foster family loves her very much and knows the perfect family is out there waiting for her!
